Summer to Halloween

Its time for another Dreamweaver's Thursday! I have to thank Lynell and the Design Team for letting me play along with them for the month of July! I love playing with new techniques and getting messy. I have a few ideas that I wanted to try still floating around in my head that you may be seeing in future projects ;)

For this first card, I inked a single square with Distress Inks. Next I stenciled Translucent paste in the square and waited. I'm really not good at the waiting part, lol! When it was dry, I stamped with StazOn. A bit of tulle finished the card off.

Supplies Used: Dreamweavers (LJ812 Six Window, Translucent Paste), There She Goes (SweetPea), Distress Inks, StazOn

This next tag started out with a summery theme. I stamped the script image, stenciled the Lotus flower with Distress Inks and then stenciled it again with Translucent Paste. And what I had in my head, was that I could ink the background black. yeah, it didn't really look so hot when I inked it. I tried splattering it with water...getting worse. I was just about to chuck it in the trash bin when I thought it would make a cool Halloween background. There you go. From Summer to Halloween in 30 seconds. ;)

Supplies Used: Dreamweavers (Lotus, Translucent Paste), Hero Arts, Stampendous, Distress Ink, Copics
