Today's layout features Clear Scraps XL Deco Shape....

I stamped the XL Deco Shape with a background stamp repeatedly in white StazOn ink. One thing that I like to do is leave the protective film on the back. It gives the layout a slight frosted effect.

The Expression was outlined with a White Zig paint pen.

Clear Scraps and Kaiser Craft

This week the Clear Scrap team is pairing up with Kaiser Craft. I was excited when I discovered the large circle in the XL Dots fits the Kaiser Craft Celestial pattern paper perfectly! 

I randomly stenciled a bit of white acrylic paint on the XL Dots with the Quarterfoil Mascil. To keep the pattern light, I sponged off most of the paint before applying it to the acrylic. 

I fussy cut the butterflies and roses from the Honey Chai pattern paper. I layered it on the front of the XL Dot and added foam adhesive on the back of the acrylic. This allowed the Clear Scrap acrylic to be raised slightly towards the middle, showing off the stenciled design.

Kaiser Advent Calendar- CreativeXpress

Its up and I can share! I am so excited to be able to share with you my first project that I created for the CreativeXpress Design Team! Using Winter Woodland, When its Cold Outside cartridges and Kaiser's Advent Calendar I was able to create this winter keepsake for my family. A complete set of directions can be found at the CreativeXpress Blog, so I'll just share some photos with you....

I figured with three kids the idea of filling the drawers with candy was going to guarantee a fight, so using the cartridges I created 24 paper ornaments for the Christmas tree.

Layered sentiments of "peace" and "joy"...

Aren't these mittens adorable? I think the Winter Woodland cartridge has to be my absolute favorite cartridge!!!

I also have a post up with some Tips and Tricks to creating your own advent calendar up on the blog. Most important tip...don't start this November 30th! LOL!!! Between paint and glue trying time, it takes a bit of time but it is totally worth it!
