luck, happiness and riches...

I went almost a week without stamping a thing. Eek! I decided at last minute that I wanted to send something in for the Papercrafts world cardmaking contest. You can't win if you don't try, right? So last weekend I went into stamping cram time. I managed to get 3 cards done that I really liked. Sorry, no photos to show you until after the winners are announced as per the rules. But the reason I haven't stamped all week is because my room was a WRECK! I am a kinda neat scrapper/stamper. I usually have to tidy up during my work. I just can't stand clutter on my desk. I finally sat down and cleaned up the mess today and got busy stamping again.

I created this frame with my mom in mind because she loves butterflies. Lucky for me she doesn't read my blog. I don't even think she knows what a blog is yet, lol! I stamped the butterfly multiple times, masking the image as I went. I then colored it in with watercolors. In order to get the Irish Blessing on the frame, I printed the saying on transparency and then glued that onto the frame. Two more butterflies were adhered directly on top of the transparency. Isn't that such a pretty blessing? I hope she likes it.

supplies used:
stamps: Autumn Leaves (Romance of Spring)
font: Century gothic

have a great weekend!
