The temperatures are starting to drop at night here, Halloween goodies are in the stores, the kids are planning their costumes and fall is quickly approaching. As soon as I saw Jens Little C's weekly challenge this week I knew I had to give it a try. I don't think I've ever made a Halloween card before. I don't know why because I love the color combos and decor of fall.
stamps: Rubbernecker (tree), Scrap Pack (alphabet)
paper: Daisy D's
sketch: LCWC
I stamped the tree image on white cardstock and embossed it. I stamped it a second time on black cardstock and cut it out. You can see its not exact. I didn't worry about cutting out every single one of the skinny branches, but instead the main trunck and branches. I pop dotted this above the other tree image.
To create the distress mesh look on the circles. I cut a piece of magic mesh, laid it down on the paper paper and sponged distress inks over top. Pull the mesh off and you have a simple distress background.
The bats were my own design cut freehand.

Wow Wendy!!! I love it!!! I love how you cut the tree out, and made 3D, really looks cool. I also love the fact that you have cut out your own bats!! That's too cool!!! Thanks for playing!!
