looking for something to do this weekend...

Are you looking for something to do this weekend? Need some challenges to keep you stamping? There are lots of challenges going on over at Paper Craft Planet. Here's a few new ones to keep you busy...

1. Scrappy Sunday- "Play along with us each week as we post a new Scrapbook Sketch Challenge! Just create a Scrapbook Layout using the sketch as a guide and upload to the gallery with the appropriate tag. Be sure to play along each week for a chance to be the Scrappy Sunday Guest Designer next month!!! At the end of the month, the PCP Super Novas will be voting on their favorite scrapper from all of the weekly participants (must participate in all 4 challenges in March)!!! So pull out the big (ATG) guns and get scrappin'!!!"Be sure to check out this weeks sketch by Jen Tapler.

2. 3-D Tuesday Challenges- "Join the 3D Tuesday Challenge group -- we hook up every Tuesday to make projects like boxes, bags and mini-books -- anything that isn't a card or a scrapbook page! " This weeks challenge has you recycling that old can into art.

3. Etsy Inspired Weekend Blog Hop- Have you joined the Etsy Inspired group yet at PCP? Come join and try any of the 10 challenges they have up for the festitivies. fun challenges and some cool prizes to be had. The following card is one I did for one of the challenges. This was for Ashley's limited supplies challenge...1 kind of ribbon, 2 colors (plus one neutral), 3 layer.

I stamped the Making Memories flowers in brown ink on kraft cardstock. The Sassafrass Lass sentiment was stamped in brown ink on shimmer paper from Paper Temptress. To give the effect of it being matted(without actually counting as a layer) , I added 1/8 inch strips of brown cardstock. An extra flower was stamped, colored and cut out. I created the leaves out of the ribbon.

supplies used:
stamp: Making Memories, Sassafrass Lass
ribbon: PaperTrey Ink
cardstock: StampinUp, PaperTemptress

And its a new month which means its time for a new DT theme over at Paper Craft Planet. This month the design team is getting you ready for spring with lots of spring inspiration! This next card was also for another EtsyInspired challenge, Lees (pink, black, white, bling) challenge. I stamped the sentiment and embossed it. The pattern paper was colored in a bit with pink pencils.

supplies used:
stamp: Autumn Leaves
punch: Martha Stewart

And finally I have one last card for you. This card is for this weeks ColorThrowdown #31, bashful blue, kiwi kiss and navy.

supplies used:
stamps: Cornish Farms (plaid), Inkadinkado (phrase), October Afternoon (strawberry and circle)
pattern paper: Chatterbox

Well thats it for today. I have more cards to share, but I need a bit of sunlight to get some photographs. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
