1. Color Throwdown #34-Not Quite Navy, Kiwi Kiss, and Blush Blossom. Boy, did I have some trouble with this color combo! I rarely use navy and coupled with blush....never. But after I got over my fear of combining those colors, I actually kinda like it. See this is what I love about the challenges, it gets you to break out of your happy routine and try something different.
To create the flower centers, I cut 1.5 inch pieces of ribbon and wrapped it over top of a office supply brad. Pinching the ends, I wrapped a piece of floss around, tying it tight. I enlarged the hole in the Prima flower and slipped the end of my brad through the hole. The end of the ribbon then became a leaf behind the Prima flower.
