exciting news at AmberINK

(NOTE: 2nd post of day- scroll down for Lizzie Anne Design Team Challenge)

You know what today is? Aside from being Friday and the start of the weekend, lol! Yes, I'm skipping around dancing because its the weekend, but the (th)Tank Girls are dancing around for another reason today. Exciting news! Not only are the new AmberInk images up for sale now, but AmberInk is launching a new Challenge Blog!

Here are the rules:
  • you must use at least 1 AmberInk product. It can be digital images, iPapers or clear stamps. Don't have any? Well what are you waiting for. Hope on over to the shop and check out all the cute stuff. There are some digital images there for as low as 50cents!
  • if you enter you must also vote for your top 3 picks. Voting will be open from 9/11 through 9/13.
  • and you must follow the theme for the month. What is the theme you ask? BOOKS! Anything book related works!
  • contest is open to everyone!

I created this book for my youngest son to keep all of his fishing tales and sketches in. Remember he's OBSSESSED with fishing! He could barely wait for me to finish photographing it before he ran off with it. Guess he likes it! I love these cute fish from the Baby Mermaid- Friendship set. I printed them out at about 1 inch each, colored them with copics and then glitzed them up with a Stardust gelly pen. Hard to see that shimmer in the photo, but its there! All that was left to do was add some baubles for bubbles.

Those dew drops have been sitting around in my studio for awhile. I always forget that I have them (see thats the problem with being a neat freak stamper. Everything out of sight and out of mind, LOL!) Well my youngest was playing with a bunch of cars in my room and asked if he could bring in a bucket of dirt for his dumptrucks. ummm....NO! I dug out the dewdrops and let him use them with his cars instead. Alot easier to clean up then dirt! The point to my rambling, they were still sitting out in my room and a good reminder to me to use them on a project.

Be sure to look around the shop because there are lots of new goodies for sale. Most everything is available in either digital or clear stamp because as the AmberInk girls say... brilliant not patient! Here are some of the new items:
I'm entering this book in the following challenges:

Absolutely precious! I love the colors, and those fish are darling!

Tell Willem I have a story too! I got a ticket for fishing while we were at Patrick's parents'! We thought there was a catch and release policy. NOT! So...$247 later, we have a family license! Hopefully Willem will not make the same mistake we did!

What a cute notebook. I'd love to see what Willem writes and draws in it. Maybe he'll let you post pics? Those "bubbles" are so cute. I've never seen any that small. Where did you get them?
