I can finally spill the beans! Do you remember a few months back when I applied for the Clearsnap DT call? No, I didn't make the team, but I'm super excited to be joining them this month as a Guest Designer for August!
I've been having fun playing around and creating watercolor effects with their Colorbox Petal Point Pigment Inks. Yes, you read that right...pigment inks. I normally think dye inks when going for a watercolor effect, but when you ink your stamp with the Petal Points, give a few spritzes with water, the inks will swirl together and create a gorgeous watercolor effect. The tile effect in the background was created in this way. You can also stamp the ink on a craft mat, spritz it with water to water it down and paint with it the same way you would dye inks. The flower was colored in with this technique.
