There She Goes Christmas Critters Challenge...

This week our challenge is brought to us by Vera! She is challenging us to make a card or project with a Christmas theme, but it must include an animal!! Hence the name, Christmas Critters. I think they were looking for cute furry critters, but bats are critters. And I'm pretty sure there are some critters peeking out from the Christmas tree ;)

I couldn't help but look at this adorable whimsical tree image in the new Tis the Season set and see eyeballs. Looks like this set already sold out and isn't on the website, so check it out here on Pinterest. Add the iris and some bloodshot lines and you have eyeballs! LOL! I went with the idea and created a christmas scene for this adorable witch from the No Tricks Only Treats set. The santa hat is from the Scootin' By Accessories set. I finished it off with the Magical time of the year sentiment from the Tis the Season Set. Get it...magical...witches. (giggle) Yep, I crack myself up. LOL!

To be eligible for the giveaway, create a NEW card or project with the Christmas Critters, and then head to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of the challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (December 9th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

TSG-Merry Christ-Moose, Nordic Borders, Nice Rack

We at TSG love our holiday sets, and we love our animals, too…so whenever they can combine, we are THRILLED.  The new Merry Christ-moose set from Torico is no exception!

I had a LOT of fun playing around with this set. The moose head reminded me a bit of a mounted taxidermy type moose head you'd find on the wall so I went with that idea. ((snort)) After coloring him, I made with a "wooden" plaque and gave him a place of honor on my card.

Merry Christ-moose is a 4x8 set that includes a total of 18 stamps and will sell for $18. It will be released on Saturday, November 30th at 11pmEST.

Made to go along with the Merry Christ-moose stamp set, Nice Rack has all those sentiments that may be a little bit naughty, but are definitely nice.

Nice Rack is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 7 stamps and will sell for $9. It will be released on Saturday, November 30th at 11pmEST.

For this next card, I combined all three stamp sets. I love that Nordic Border set and will definitely be using it often.

Torico has also created this GORGEOUS Nordic Borders set as well, which will add a finished, homey feel to any of your creations.

Nordic Borders is a 2x6 set that includes a total of 3 stamps and will see for $3. It will be released on Saturday, November 30th at 11pmEST.

There She Goes- Tis the Season

A full set of fun from artist Wendy Leach, features our favorite sock goblin, but lots of other winter accessories to go along with it! This whimsical and fun holiday set is sure to be a favorite.

I fell in love with this cute penguin in the set and thought he would be adorable to create a background of penguins with. I created a handful of masks for the penguin and went to town stamping him. The coloring was kept simple, with just a bit of gray shadow added to the background penguins.

Tis the Season is a 6x8 set that includes a total of 12 stamps and will sell for $24. It will be released on Saturday, November 30that 11pmEST.

Clear Scraps and DCWV

Clear Scraps has paired with DCWV to create some fabulous projects and giveaways!

I loved this countdown paper in the DCWV 6 x 6 pad. When I trimmed it down a hair it fit perfectly with the Scallop Square Clear Scrap album page. By adhering it behind the acrylic, I could use repositionable adhesive on an Clear Scrap Frame Embellishment and have it act as a date marker.

I punched a white piece of Woven Papers and colored it with copics. The bat is a stamped image from There She Goes.

Supplies Used: Clear Scraps (Scalloped Square Album, Frames EmbellishmentsDCWV (Spooky Time 6 x 6 pad, Woven Paper Pad), There She Goes (Bewitched by You), Want2Scrap Bling, Copics, ribbon, Beacon (Zip Dry)

TSGA

It's time for TSGA at There She Goes...which means next week is new release week! :) Be sure to head on over to the TSG blog to check out the gorgeous cards the Trendsetters have created this week!

I've been on a tag kick lately. I love experimenting with new techniques and tags are the perfect size to try new techniques on. For the background on this tag, I ripped pieces of sheet music and mod podged them to the tag. When the adhesive was dry, I brushed gesso over the entire piece. Next I went in a spritzed it with Ditto Green Glimmer Spray and  Luminarte Solar Gold. Cute stamped image from Season's Greetings set (There She Goes), a bit of pattern paper and washi tape and the tag was finished!

Christmas Ornaments

Hi everyone! Wendy here and today I'm sharing a Christmas ornament I made using the November ClubQ Kit.

I love creating photo ornaments of the kids. I used a wood cube for my base and drilled a hole down the center. I cut 5 pieces of pattern paper and 1 photo to fit the sides of the cube and adhered them with Mod Podge. When the glue was dry, I sanded the edges and inked it with Powder Puff Ink.

The banner tags were part of the November ClubQ Kit. I stamped a sentiment and added a diecut stamped holly image for embellishment. Bling from the Kit was added for berries.

The ornament is held onto the ribbon with an embossed bead and knot. A pretty bow finished off the ornament.

Quick Quotes Supplies
•Club Q (November 2013)-papers, wide ribbon, bling)
•Powder Puff Ink

Other Supplies
•There She Goes (Snowman Soup, Snowman Soup Dies)
•Stampendous Aged Embossing Powder
•Copics
•Tsukineko Memento ink
•wood cube
•Mod Podge
