Hi everyone! Sharing a layout I did featuring Clear Scraps XL Deco Shape and Crafters Companion Mulberry Wood Gone Fishing.

Here's a closeup of the stamped image. I extended the bank by simply drawing a pen line. Now the stamp fits perfectly with my layout!

Spring Wreath...

Today's project is a fun wreath for spring! The Clear Scrap XL Chipboard Birds make a fun addition to the wreath! I painted the birds with gesso and then inked them up with Distress inks, layering the Mascils for a pretty background design.

I created the leaves by stamping multiple leaves, inking with various Distress inks and spritzing with water. The water droplets create a cool effect when they dry.

I kept the coloring on the daisies simple, by blending a bit of Distress Inks in the centers.

Here's another peek at the birds and flowers together on the wreath...

Supplies Used:
Clear Scrap Mascils (QuarterFoil,Corner Flourish) and  XL Birds in Chipboard
Crafters Companion (Sheena - Paint Fusion Daisies)
Rangers Distress Inks

Perfect Day

Hi everyone! Wendy here and today I'm sharing a layout using some of the newest Quick Quotes paper lines.

I die-cut 16 circles from a sheet of pattern paper using my Silhouette Cameo. Next I adhered lots (and lots and LOTS) of foam adhesive to the back of the paper. After picking out my favorite pattern papers, I cut scraps of paper to fit the windows. Once they were adhered in place, I matted the entire piece with white cardstock.

I added a die-cut title, stamped images and a bit of twine for embellishment.

I trimmed the paper line title from the bottom strip and used it on the layout. To make the words pop a bit I outlined them with an alcohol marker.

Suitcase Mini Album

I'm back to share a suitcase mini album that I made for Clear Scraps. My husband went away on a motorcycle trip to New York last summer. Clear Scrap's Chipboard Travel Brag Bag was perfect for this project!

I used lots of inks and stamps to distress the album. One of my favorite ways to add a look of texture is my inking through a piece of dry wall mesh.

I had to laugh when my husband shared his photos with me. I had asked him to take lots of photos. Out of the ((maybe)) ten photos he took, 80 % of them are of his bike. LOL!

Head on over to ClearScraps for more photos and a tutorial.

Supplies Used:
•Stampendous stamps (CRN252 Wonder Lost, Air Travel, Luggage Labels, Travel Words, Vintage Lowercase Alphabet and Baggage Claim)
Quick Quotes Pattern Paper
•Ranger Inks
Beacon Adhesive (Zip Dry, Fast Finish)
•washi tape
•dry wall mesh

Christmas Ornaments

Hi everyone! Wendy here and today I'm sharing a Christmas ornament I made using the November ClubQ Kit.

I love creating photo ornaments of the kids. I used a wood cube for my base and drilled a hole down the center. I cut 5 pieces of pattern paper and 1 photo to fit the sides of the cube and adhered them with Mod Podge. When the glue was dry, I sanded the edges and inked it with Powder Puff Ink.

The banner tags were part of the November ClubQ Kit. I stamped a sentiment and added a diecut stamped holly image for embellishment. Bling from the Kit was added for berries.

The ornament is held onto the ribbon with an embossed bead and knot. A pretty bow finished off the ornament.

•Powder Puff Ink

Follow Your Art...

Hi everyone! Wendy here and today I'm sharing a decorated composition notebook. I'm not sure about your kids, but  my kids are required to bring in a few composition notebooks each year. When they bring their stuff home at the end of the year, I'm always disapointed to see that they only used a few sheets of paper. It seems like a waste to just throw the books away so I decided to cut the few used sheets of paper out and use the book for a design notebook.

I cut sheets of Cracklin Rose to size, stamped them, machine stitched them for detail and glued them down. I added a swirl of embossing paste and dusted it with copper glitter while it was still wet.

Supplies Used:
Cracklin Rose
Powder Puff Inks
Stampendous stamps
colored pencils

Image transfer Canvas Note Holder

Hi everyone! Wendy here and today I'm sharing a canvas note holder to hang on the fridge and stay organized with all the kids school activities. This would also be cute for kids to hang in their lockers!

I wanted to keep the canvas texture while using the Quick Quotes star pattern paper. An image transfer is the way to do this. Here's how you do it..

1. Begin by painting Mod Podge all over the canvas. You will want to make sure you have total coverage on the canvas. (note: you can also gel medium if you have it on hand)

2. Next lay the side of the pattern paper you want to see face down on the canvas. In this case, both sides of the pattern paper have stars on it. Press the paper down well. Unlike when you decoupage, DO NOT apply Mod Podge on top of the paper also.

3. Allow the canvas to dry completely. I gave it 24 hrs to make sure it was dry.

4. Spray water on the canvas and when damp, begin rubbing the paper off the canvas. Keep wetting the canvas, as you need and rubbing off the paper. The image from the pattern paper will have transferred to the canvas with the Mod Podge. Be careful around the edges where the paper might not have adhered down completely. You can see in the photo, that I still had a few areas to work the paper away.

I added a few strips of Quick Quotes pattern paper, a chipboard sticker and a post it note pad.

On the back of the canvas, I applied magnets so it can hang on the fridge or locker.

Quick Quotes Supplies:
Pattern Perfect Papers QQP-PE100, QQP-PE200
